Have you ever wondered why some companies get more attention than others? It's not only what they say, but also how they say it. At Mindverse Labs, I've had the pleasure of helping brands find their voices and learning that communication is not just about making connections. This blog is my reflection on how we bring brand voices to life and make sure they resonate.
First, I ask any brand team, "If your brand were a person, who would it be?" It's a simple question, but it goes into who they are and what they stand for. This exercise is about finding the brands heartbeat, its core values and beliefs. We start by making sure every message is authentic.
Imagine if your best friend changed how they talked to you every few weeks. Wouldn't it be strange? The same applies to brands. Communication that is consistent builds trust. It's my job to make sure the brand's message is consistent across all platforms, whether it's an Instagram post or a press release.
Stories are more interesting than facts. I’ve seen eyes light up when we switch from numbers to stories in meetings. Stories about how products are made, who makes them, and the people who touch them turn abstract concepts into emotions and relationships. I love crafting stories the most.
Not all stories work for all situations. My job is to decide where to tell these stories. Some brands make a TikTok video, and others make a blog post. It's important to know where people like to hang out and create content that fits that place.
What is the most important thing in talking? Listening to you. Brands need to listen as much as they talk to their audiences. I use comments, reviews, and social listening tools to learn how people are responding and what needs to be changed. This feedback loop helps us grow and adapt.
